About Jada R. Carter, M.S.

Jada Carter, M.S., is a vibrant New Orleans native and emerging leader in the world of mental health, wellness, and advocacy. As a doctoral student of psychology, Jada wears many hats such as mental health professional, educator, researcher, entrepreneur, holistic wellness practitioner, and digital content creator known as @DaMindDoc across platforms.

Grounded in both lived experience and academic training, Jada creates culturally relevant and accessible content that speaks directly to the needs of Black and Brown communities. She shows up as her full self in every space. As a Black woman, advocate, healer, and someone who continues to do the inner work.

Jada’s approach is integrative, traditional psychological frameworks with somatic practices, mindfulness, and culturally rooted community care.  Whether that’s in therapy rooms, classrooms, fitness spaces, speaking engagements, or through digital media, she’s passionate about reaching people where they are. Built on truth and transparency, her brand reflects her belief that healing starts when we show up fully and honestly because everyone is worthy of spaces where they can unapologetically grow and feel whole.

Embodying the motto “Real talk. Real healing. Real life.”, Jada is committed to changing how healing is viewed and accessed, especially in historically overlooked communities. Centering the power of making sure others feel not just welcomed, but worthy.
