Mind. Body. Spirit.

Current Intellectual Curiosity
My intellectual curiosity is deeply rooted in a mission to bridge the gap between psychology and culturally grounded wellness. I am committed to exploring how anxiety, depression, and trauma show up in Black communities. Particularly in ways that often go unseen, misdiagnosed, or misunderstood. My work centers on how holistic, somatic, and culturally competent practices can support healing that honors the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. I’m interested in what it looks like to enhance traditional therapy models by making them more accessible, affirming, and liberating for Black communities. Through both research and practice, I examine the role of somatic techniques, holistic health & wellness and community-based care in trauma recovery and emotional regulation. At the heart of my inquiry is a simple but powerful question: How can we reclaim healing as a birthright, not a privilege?
